Changes During MRK 2

During my mark 2 development my concept took a few changes visually as I felt these enhanced the aesthetic of my app but had no large effect on the functionality of the app.

The first change I made was on the profile editing page, originally the page featured every element on one very large continuous screen but I later changed this so that each separate element was on a different page. The user would fill out the page they are on and once the app detects that all the required fields were complete the user would be presented with a confirm button t move onto the next screen.

The second change I made was to the filter screen where my users can determine the variables of their walk to cater to their own needs. Originally the screen was very compact and text based which caused some difficulty to tap on as the elements were very close together. I changed this by creating larger buttons under specific headings on a larger screen.

A similar change I made to the filter selection was the walk selection page. This change was mainly due to the aesthetic look of the container containing each walk. After some feedback from classmates it was clear the containers were very bland and boring. To combat this I edited how the information would be displayed and added a solid background to make the information clearer and more legible.

A very small change I made was the size and positioning of my main header menu. When looking at my preview on a mobile device I realised that my menu bar was larger than it needed to be. When creating my app it was clear that on screen space was very valuable so sizing and positioning was very important. I also lightened the colours and added in a blue change when on that selected screen.
